Колониальные граждане Русской Америки: проблема формирования постоянного русского населения в Новом Свете

The article is devoted to the formation of specific category in the population of the Russian America (Russian colonies in Alaska before 1867) so called “colonial citizens”. The article is based mostly on unpublished archival documents and rare published sources. The analyzing of this theme helps to understand better why the Russian America was sold to the USA.
