Аннотация
An article deals with peculiar features of theology of Jonathan Edwards, as compared to theological implications of The Federalist. Tracing the development of Calvinism from its original phase, through theology of Covenant, to the Great Revival of 18th century, author tries to prove that the influence of Edwards was unique and essential both for morality of common people and for the education of the future Founding Fathers who created the Constitution of the USA.
