Аннотация

The article is devoted to the problem of democratization of the labor relations in the US. The author is paying major attention to the concept of industrial democracy and to the changes of its historical meaning from the end of the XIX century to the end of the XX century. The term “industrial democracy” is regarded in the article as a general goal which had been approached differently by the participants of the labor relations: labor unions, business and management, federal government and American public.
