Легендарная Молли Питчер
Аннотация
Not many women are mentioned during the Revolutionary War. On the battlefields women carried ammunition and water to the troops – both to slake the thirst of the soldiers and to swab out the blisteringly hot cannon after each firing. For their work these women were referred to as “Molly Pitcher”. This is a name that has come to symbolize a legend, a female figure powerful enough to fight on a battlefield with men.
