Аннотация
The author mainly analyzes weaknesses in the study of economic and social history of the USA in Russia. Among the problems of economic history special attention is paid to the formation and character of big business at the turn of XIX–XX centuries, to economic consequences of F.D. Roosevelt’s New Deal, to the economic periods of post-industrial society. As for problems of social history special attention is paid to history of religious, ethnic and gender groups.
