Admiral Staff vs. General Staff. The USA in the Plans of German Commandership before the World War I.: After the Spanish-American war the German-American relations were seriously deteriorated. German political and military circles began to regard the US as one of the main rivals in the struggle for the domination on the world commodity markets. In the beginning of the XX century the German Admiral Staff worked out the plans of invasion of the American territory. On the basis of original archive materials the discussions between the representatives of the various groups within the Commandership are analyzed.
