Россия в Первой мировой войне глазами американского журналиста Стэнли Уошберна, 1917–1919 гг.
Аннотация
The Russian contribution to the Allies’ victory in the Great War was the topic for deliberations for some U.S. diplomats and journalists and, particulary for Stanley Washburn — the only American correspondent on the Eastern front and outstanding personality. Examining the «Russian problem» in 1917–1919 under the strain of the Revolution and Civil War he persistently advocated the U.S. energetic support of antibolshevik forces, rejecting Wilson’s policy of what he thought to be hesitations and non-interference in Russian affairs.
