Этические концепции эффективного менеджмента в США и России в конце XIX – начале XX века. Опыт сравнительного анализа
Аннотация
In different countries and civilisations business has grown up on different social and cultural ground. American model of business efficiency and management is by no means the only successful one in the world. Great industrialists – Henry Ford in America, Timofei Morozov and his son Savva Morozov, who belonged to the Old Believers community in Russia, adhered to national patterns of business ethics. Notwithstanding so often stressed incompatibility of “American” and “Russian” mentality, their peculiar ethical concepts and values made them equally anxious about increasing efficiency and productivity – not only for profit-making, but for benefitting public and society as well. This comparative case-study sheds the light upon their ideas in business administration that contributed much to their understanding of companies’ goals, personnel relations, incentives to work, social performance and social responsibility, leadership style, etc.
