The article examines the participation of the American Federation of Labor in the election of 1948, focusing on the causes and the process of creation of the Labor’s League for Political Education. Author considers tasks, structure, activities of the League, political program of the Labor and its contribution to the victory of Harry Truman and the Democratic Party.
