Аннотация
In the end of the 18th century – the 19th century most of the French contemporaries who wrote or spoke about the U.S. political institutions can be divided into two groups according to their understanding of the American and French Revolutions’ importance and outcome, their perception of the role of the American civilization in the contemporary world and in future, their identification or nonidentification with the transatlantic realities.
