Аннотация
This article examines the national security strategy of the Republican Administration of Dwight Eisenhower. The author explains the necessity of new broad approach to the study of such phenomenon as US national security policy including cultural, ideological, demographic and others factors. Since World War II national security issues have played significant role in American electoral politics. Recent academic work seem to be moving toward a greater appreciation of ideology within the American parties. The author argues that new Republican ideology had had impact on D. Eisenhower’s national security strategy.
